Thank you to everyone who was part of this year’s virtual FUNd Run! Almost 600 runners of all ages and from every school completed a 5K or a distance of their choice between October 3 and October 12. The event raised over $32,000. With an additional contribution from the 112 Education Foundation, the total donation for the scholarship fund supporting students at every school in the district is $34,000. At a time when the need is higher than usual, the incredible D112 community came together to support its own.
We are grateful to you – families, teachers, administrators and Highland Park residents – for your flexibility and support of this year’s race. We cannot wait to be back together at Ravinia Festival next year for FUNd Run 2021!
