Middle school orchestra members gave an outstanding performance at Bennett Gordon Hall at Ravinia this April. Thanks to the Foundation’s partnership with Ravinia and as part of Ravinia’s Reach*Teach*Play program, guest musicians visited each middle school to work with orchestra students to prepare for the District-wide concert. The 6th grade orchestras performed March Heroic and 3 Ukrainian folk songs. The 7th and 8th grade orchestras together performed a piece by Mozart and Berceuse and Finale from Stravinsky’s Firebird.
