The Indian Trail Board Game Club is taking students beyond rolling dice and moving pieces around a game board. Lead by teacher, Kristen Robinson, students explore five different games that take logic, strategy, problem solving, communication, and oftentimes cooperation to complete. After each game they rank it according to how easy it was to learn, complexity of strategy, and likelihood of playing it again or recommending it to friends and family. In an age when screen time is often the preferred pastime, it’s exciting to see so many students fully engaged and playing games together. The 112 Education Foundation is proud to fund this club with a Foundation Grant.
