Although there doesn’t seem to be much growing outside, students at Edgewood Middle School, are growing their own produce inside of their classroom. This unique Tower Garden is a NASA-proven efficient method of growing produce in almost half the time! Students are learning to care for the plants, to measure pH, and to grow something green during a Chicago winter. A big thanks to Jenna Didier for introducing us to the Tower Garden with a Foundation Grant! Happy harvesting!
