Mirela Vesa, grant coordinator for Music Therapy Connections, has already had her students moving to the music this week.  A music therapist from the Music Institute of Chicago conducted an introductory session with themusic therapy gb2 students in order to assess their particular interests and needs.  During the session, the students had the opportunity to listen to the music, to move to its rhythms, and to play various instruments.  The session provided numerous opportunities for social interaction and expressive communication among the students.
